Recycled Wood Christmas Tree: Hand Carved Rustic Holiday Decor

Ever wonder what happens to Christmas Trees? So did I and it turns out most of them end up as landfill or in the town dump. These little trees give them a new life! Every January I collect thrown out trees from people’s front yards or go to the local DPW where they’re happy to let me take the Christmas trees they’ve picked up. The trees for sale here are from Christmas 2020.

These recycled hand carved Christmas trees are perfect for your mantle, table or as a gift. I draw each one, carve them out and then sand them smooth to the touch. The trees are left unfinished so the unique scent of the Spruce or Balsam remains. Each tree is a little different with the natural grain, knots and curve of the wood coming through. There are felt pads on the bottom to protect the surfaces where you display your trees.

They are available in four different sizes: 8″, 10″, 12″ and 14″ tall. The diameters range from 3-4″. Many people purchase several trees of different sizes to make their own little forest. Be sure to check out the other species of wood available, White Cedar and Red Cedar trees.
