These whimsical and wonky trees are inspired by the Whoville trees in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” We have no association with the Dr. Seuss organization but have loved his stories for years. Each of the three trees is completely hand turned and is finished with a food-safe mineral oil based finish. The large tree will be ~9 1/2 inches tall and made from black walnut, the medium tree will be ~8 1/2 inches tall and made from either maple, birch or ash, depending on availability. The small tree will be ~7 1/2 inches tall and will be made from cherry. These striking trees are 100% hand turned, no CNC machines, no jigs, no automation or duplicators…..This design was inspired by a Dr. Seuss book and they’ll add a fun touch to any decor. These one-of-a-kind trees will put a smile on your face all year round or just bring them out for the holidays!

All pieces are finished with food safe finishes
If the tree’s finish begins to dull, it can be refreshed with mineral/walnut oil or butcher block oil available at your local hardware, grocery or building supply store.
My creations are made primarily from freshly cut logs. I primarily get the logs from friends and neighbors who lose trees due to storm damage. I also get them from tree service people who bring them to me instead of the landfill. I cut the logs into sections and then the sections into blanks.
I make bowls and platters of all sizes from 6″ in diameter up to 26″ in diameter. Visit us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/HauseCreations/ I also make multi-axis candlesticks, see our separate listing for those…
